The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- Use the NHS or Patient Access app.
- Fill out the prescription form and drop it in the box at the surgery.
- Call the surgery’s prescription line at 01782 476 511. You can reach them Monday to Friday, from 11 am to 11.45 am. We kindly request that you do not call for prescription requests outside of these times.
- Completing an online consultation admin query form for repeat prescriptions or medical queries.
- Allow two working days for processing and five days for the pharmacy.
- To ensure timely processing, please order your medication at least one week before it is due.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
Medication Queries
If you have questions about medication, call the surgery at 01782 783 565. You can also fill out the online consultation form. A clinician will get back to you within 48 hours.
Nominating a pharmacy
You can nominate a pharmacy using the NHS or Patient Access app. This lets you have your prescriptions sent straight there. This means no more collecting paper prescriptions from your GP. Your pharmacy will handle them until you change or cancel the nomination.
Local Pharmacies
Registering with a local pharmacy comes with many advantages. They can dispense your medicines and help you get rid of unwanted ones. You can also get self-care tips. Additionally, they offer support after you leave the hospital.
Use the NHS search to find one near you and explore the services they provide.
