Diabetes Awareness Week

Diabetes Awareness Week 12th-18th June

Diabetes affects more people in the UK than any other serious health condition.
Living with diabetes is no easy feat, whether it’s having to keep a constant eye on your blood sugar, being able to eat your favourite foods or remembering to take your daily amount of insulin.
At times these things may seem habitual, while at other times they may be challenging, but each day you’re doing them and that’s something worth talking about!

Raising awareness of diabetes and what changes people can make in order to reduce their risk is the main aim of this week.

The NHS website provides information on symptoms of diabetes, however, this does not mean you definitely have the condition.
