Vaccinations

Child Immunisations

We run a weekly child immunisations clinic.  These appointments are scheduled by child health and parents/guardians will receive an appointment letter in the post.  If you are unable to attend the scheduled appointment, please inform the practice as soon as possible.

If you are unsure if your child is up to date with vaccinations the easiest way to check is to look at your child’s red book or contact the surgery. If your child has missed a vaccination, please contact your GP practice to book an appointment as soon as you can to make sure they have maximum protection against disease.

See the below link for the Child Immunisation Schedules.

Routine Immunisations

Routine vaccines are available during surgery times by appointment with our Practice Nurses.

We also offer annual Flu, Covid booster vaccinations and for those eligible Shingles and Pneumonia vaccinations.

We run flu jab clinics in Autumn and Winter and will post more details on how you can book in due course.

Look out for more information on the following pages:

Our website https://www.talkeclinic.nhs.uk/

Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/talkeclinic

We will send out a text reminder from the surgery to book in for these vaccinations.

Travel Immunisations

If you are travelling abroad, you may need to be vaccinated.

You can access our travel vaccination form by completing the online form below or you can collect a form from the main reception and return it to the practice. It is important to provide this information at least twelve weeks before you travel so that the vaccines can be ordered,

The practice nurse will review the information you have supplied.  You will then be contacted by the practice nurse who will advise you on the vaccines you may need.  The nurse may also send you a link to the travel health website for further information and to confirm the area you may be travelling to.
