Knowing what’s normal for your skin is one of the best ways to catch skin cancer early. That means keeping an eye on your skin and looking out for any unusual changes — like a new mole or a patch that’s changed in size, shape, or colour.

• A mole that looks different from your others
• A patch of skin that’s sore, itchy, or bleeds and doesn’t heal
• Any change that just doesn’t feel right.
If you notice anything unusual, don’t wait — book an appointment with your GP. It might be nothing, but it’s always best to get it checked.
